Deputy PM meets international defence delegates

DEFENCE ministers and senior officials from Mongolia, Chile and the Philippines met with Singapore's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Defence Mr Teo Chee Hean today.
They were attending the Shangri-La Dialogue, a meeting with 28 nations and 320 delegates on defence priorities and challenges delivered by Asia-Pacific regional powers and key international players.
The Defence Ministers from Australia, Malaysia, New Zealand, Singapore and the UK also met this morning for an informal Five Power Defence Arrangements (FPDA) Defence Ministers' Meeting to exchange views on regional security and developments.
Mr Teo also hosted a second luncheon for participating ministers and ministerial representatives at the conclusion of the Dialogue.
