Khan Bank opens Diplomatic office

Simon Morris welcomes Japan’s ambassador to Khan Bank’s diplomatic office

The Khan Bank has announced the opening of its Diplomatic Office. This specialized office is designed to provide financial services for embassies, international organizations, foreign invested companies, and for their officials. The office welcomed its first customers today.

As Mongolia’s economic growth continues, the level of investment into Mongolia and foreign companies also continues to increase. The Diplomatic Office will offer a full range of banking services in a timely and efficient manner, under the motto “Your priority is our priority”. The office will run its operations in three main languages: English, Japanese and Chinese. Staff however also have language facility in German, Russian, Spanish, Turkish and Korean. Ambassadors from Japan and Canada, representatives of international organizations and major companies participated in the ceremony. Simon Morris, CEO of Khan Bank, stated “We are taking many actions to deliver customer service at the highest level to all our customers and to provide products and services based on customers needs in a convenient ways. One of the good examples is our Diplomatic Office, which is open for business from today. Our purpose will be fulfilled if the our customers are receiving services at international level.”

Khan Bank, with the largest branch network across all of Mongolia, provides banking services to corporate
small and medium businesses and consumers. Currently, all 496 branches of the Bank are operating on a real time basis providing customers with direct access to all banking services from everywhere in Mongolia
