Consultative meeting of Honorary Consuls of Mongolia will be held in Ulaanbaatar

Mongolia has 66 honorary consuls, citizens of forty foreign countries around the world. They volunteer to represent Mongolia in various events and some are authorized to issue Mongolian visas and assists Mongolian citizens travelling or living in their respective countries. A citizen of Chinese Hong Kong Kwok Shumin became the first Honorary Consul of Mongolia in 1992.
Regularly, Mongolian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade invites the consuls in Ulaanbaatar for consultative meetings.
This time, Seventh-consultative meeting of the Honorary consults will be held in Ulaanbaatar on Sept 3-4, 2009.
