Russian Speaker Sergei Mironov in Mongolia
Sergei Mikhailovich Mironov, Speaker of the Federation Council, the upper house of the Russian Parliament-Duma is on official visit in Mongolia between Sept 5-7, 2009. On Friday morning, he met with Demberel Damdin, Speaker of the Parliament.
The visit of Mironov is not first time in Mongolia. As a senior engineer-geophysicist of Soviet geological exploration brigade, he worked in Mongolian Gobi desert in 1986-1991 searching for various minerals.
Mongolian and Russian Speakers discussed about improving of interparliamentary dialogue, Russian participation in development of Mongolian uranium resources, Russian veterinary assistance in Mongolia.
