A delegation from the Vietnamese State Auditing Department, led by Chief State Auditor Vuong Dinh Hue, paid a visit to Mongolia from September 8-12.
Receiving the delegation in the Mongolian capital of Ulaanbaatar on September 9, the Mongolian Parliamentary Chairman Damdin Demberel praised the high level of cooperation between both countries’ state auditors.
The Vietnamese official also met with his Mongolian counterpart Chief Auditor Radnaa.
Both exchanged their auditing experiences and agreed to cooperate in staff training.
The Mongolian side pledged to assist Vietnam’s State Auditing service to host the 12th Asian Organisation of Supreme Audit Institutions (ASOSAI) in Hanoi in 2012 and become a member of the ASOSAI’s management board during the 2009-2012 period.
The Vietnamese delegation also visited other localities in Mongolia.
