Anti-Corruption Agency requests suspension of immunity of a legislator

Yesterday, Anti-Corruption agency requested the Chief state Prosecutor to suspend immunity of Gundalai Lamjav, democratic legislator (Khuvsgul) and former minister of health so the agency can question the legislator.
Previously, the lawmaker was charged with corruption several times and the state prosecutor's office requested the Parliament to remove the legal immunity of the legislator. However, it never materialized. Parliamentary subcommittee of Ethics is expected to hear about the request of the prosecutor's office.
