Chinggis Khaan Golf Cup to showcase Mongolian culture

New Delhi, Dec 10 (PTI) The Mongolian culture and tradition would be on display when the 'Grand Chinggis Khaan Golf Cup' tournament tees off here for the first time with around 100 amateur golfers participating in the event.

The day-long invitational event to be held on December 12 at Qutab Golf Course would witness the presence of ambassadors from different countries, diplomats, bureaucrats, officials and corporates.


"To promote Mangolian culture and tourism in the country and to target Indian audience who are passionate about Golf, we are organising this tournament for the first time in India out of Mangolia," Ambassador of Mongolia, Voroshilov Enkhbold told PTI.

"This tournament would be the right way to strengthen our ties with India and have a good platform to interact with diplomats, corporates and officials while playing," he said.

The tournament will be played in three different categories namely Men, Ambassadors and Ladies.
