Mongolia's big freeze
A slow natural disaster is taking its toll on Mongolia's herders, killing thousands of livestock and putting livelihoods at risk.
The phenomenon is known as the Dzud - a severe summer drought followed by an extra harsh winter.
With heavy snows covering up already sparse grazing land, millions of animals have perished.
Al Jazeera's Tony Birtley reports from Central Mongolia.
