Coal company"Energy Resource" may halt operations

Some sources said one of very few coal companies of Mongolia-Energy Resources may halt its operations starting next week.

Due to the coal sector crisis, Energy Resources, a Mongolian coal mining company majority owned by MCS, one of largest private conglomerates of country may halt its operation. 

Weakened Chinese demand, forced Mongolian coal mining companies scale down operations.

Energy Resources, which is also known through its Hongkong stock exchange enlisted name" Mongolia Mining Corp" directly employs about 2600 people and indirectly about 10,000 people through its affiliated companies.
