The Hungarian Foreign Minister said Mongolia’s mining industry and dynamic agriculture have led to a consistent economic growth rate of at least 10% over the past several years. This rapid rate of economic growth has generated a need for technological development, which provides an opportunity for significantly increasing Hungarian technology exports to Mongolia, Szijjártó added.
Hungary’s President János Áder also payed an official visit to Mongolia in April. He said that Hungarian experts could help to protect Mongolia’s water resources, produce quality drinking water and upgrade the existing network of pipes and canals. Mongolia has demonstrated spectacular economic growth since 1990, János Áder noted, adding that Hungary could also help Mongolia further modernise its economy by contributing to livestock improvement.
