Former Mongolian diplomat claims US Secretary of State John Kerry asked Mongolian government in 2016 to accept 3000 refugees every year.

Bayarkhuu Dashdorj,former Mongolian ambassador to Egypt and commentator of international affairs in local media John Kerry asked that Mongolia either accept 3000 refugees from Middle east or pay $ 5 million every year as obligation to international community.

Bayarkhuu said Mongolia avoided this obligation citing its neutral status in international affairs and Mongolia should be bold in asserting its neutral status.

John Kerry visited Mongolia in April, 2016 and praised Mongolia as “oasis of democracy”.

This surprising news was disclosed by Bayarkhuu when he appeared as guest in popular talk show"Hour of Jargalmaa" aired on Eagle News TV.
