ULAN BATOR, Oct. 9 (Xinhua) -- Germany plans to offer non-refundable aid worth 55 million euros to support development projects in Mongolia for this year and next, Mongolian Foreign Affairs Ministry said Tuesday.
Negotiations were held here on Oct. 8-9 under the framework of bilateral technical and financial cooperation in 2018-2019 between the governments of Mongolia and Germany.
"We decided to provide the financial assistance for projects in the three priority sectors in Mongolia, namely energy efficiency, sustainable economic development and biodiversity," said Kathrin Oellers, the visiting head of the department for East Asia at the Federal Ministry of Economic Development and Development of Germany.
Over the past 25 years, Germany has provided a total of 450 million euros in aid to Mongolia.
