HOHHOT, Jan. 16 (Xinhua) -- Police in north China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region have busted a large methamphetamine factory, detaining 25 suspects.
Police seized almost 20 kg of methamphetamine and more than 3,700 kg of methamphetamine precursors in the illegal factory located in the neighboring province of Hebei.
Detectives said they traced one of the suspects who sold the drug in the city of Ulanqab, Inner Mongolia, and found the freshly-made methamphetamine had been sold to other areas in Inner Mongolia, as well as Hebei and Sichuan provinces.
Police caught the suspects involved in the factory's production and sales in Inner Mongolia and Hebei.
The suspects purchased chemicals from Hebei and south China's Guangdong Province to make methamphetamine in the illegal factory.
The case is still under investigation.
