ULAN BATOR, Feb. 2 (Xinhua) -- The Mongolian parliament on Saturday appointed three new ministers, including head of the cabinet secretariat.
Luvsannamsrai Oyun-Erdene was appointed as head of the cabinet secretariat, Yondonperenlei Baatarbileg as minister of education, culture, science and sports, and Byambasuren Enkh-Amgalan as minister of road and transport development.
Oyun-Erdene replaced Gombojav Zandanshatar, who succeeded Miyegombo Enkhbold as speaker of the parliament on Friday. He is one of the lawmakers who spearheaded calls for Enkhbold's resignation over his alleged involvement in a power abuse scandal.
Baatarbileg succeeded Tsedenbal Tsogzolmaa, who was dismissed from her post on Friday for working against the government.
Enkh-Amgalan replaced Yangu Sodbaatar, who submitted his resignation in December over a scandal involving financial irregularities.
