Ichinkhorloo Munkhbaya, 26, Gansukh Ikhbayar, 27, and Batsuren Erdenebaya, 27, were apprehended near Thong Lor BTS station, Pol Lt Gen Surachate Hakparn, commissioner of the Immigration Bureau, said at a media briefing on Wednesday.
The suspects were wanted on arrest warrants issued by the Phra Khanong Court for colluding in theft.
They were accused of picking a Slovak tourist's pocket on the evening of April 1 on a BTS skytrain between Thong Lor station and On Nut station.
When he realised his wallet containing 2,000 baht cash and other valuable items had vanished, the man alerted tourist police who later that night found the empty wallet in a garbage bin at Siam Discovery Skywalk.
Police examined footage of security cameras which showed the three suspects dumping the wallet in the bin before fleeing.
During interrogation, the suspects confessed to having stolen the wallet from the victim. They admitted targetting Thais and foreign tourists in busy areas such as shopping malls and BTS stations.
Checks found that Mr Munkhbaya had entered Thailand twice, Mr Ikhbayar once and Mr Erdenebaya four times.
Pol Lt Gen Surachate urged accommodation providers and hotels to notify police of foreign guests. Two of the three suspects did not have their residences notified, he said.
It was reported Mr Munkhbaya and Mr Ikhbayar were popular rappers in Mongolia.
