A photo exhibition featuring Ulan Muqir Art Troupe or Red Bud Troupe, from north China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, was held in Ulan Bato Friday to celebrate the 70th anniversary of China-Mongolia diplomatic ties.
A total of 80 photos to narrate the history and culture of the Ulan Muqir, including their lives and performances, were on display.
"This year marks the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties between Mongolia and China. The exhibition is part of a series of activities to celebrate the friendship between the two countries," Tserendorj Batbaatar, president of the United Association of Mongolian Photographers, told Xinhua.
On the same day, a concert of folk songs, dances and music from Inner Mongolia by a group of artists of the art troupe was also held in the capital city.
According to the head of Department of Culture and Art in West Ujimqin Banner of Xilingol League in Inner Mongolia, the event was held at the invitation of the United Association of Mongolian Photographers and the Culture and Art Authority of the Mongolian government.
