Preliminary Report of the by-election of Constituency no.24 of State Great Khural; Zorigt Dashdorj, Minerals Minister is the winner

According to preliminary reports of the by-election in Chingeltei district, Zorigt Dashdorj, Minerals Minister and Candidate of the MPRP won 59% votes and is likely winner of the election.

Burmaa Radnaa, Candidate of the Mongolian Democratic Party won 29% and Uyanga Gantomor, indepedent candidate and journalist and civic activist won 4.6% and Javkhlan Samand, independent candidate and popular singer won 3.8% votes each. Other candidates did not receive one percent vote.
General Election Commission consolidating the reports from each election precinct and so far has not officially announced the results of the by-election. The above preliminary reporting is based on reports of each of the Parties.
