Two persons died in snow storm in Western Mongolia

Over last weekend, strong snow and dust storms hit rural aimags of Govi-Altai, Sukhbaatar, Dornogovi.

Snow storm in Chandmani soum of Govi-Altai aimag reached 16 meter second. Five people of the soum disappeared during the storm and two of them, 78 year old woman and seven-year old child was found frozen to death. Other three was found alive, however, limbs of 11 year old boy was frozen and sent to the Aimag hospital for treatment.
