On the night of July 1, a woman named Tuya killed her former colleague and friend E, a tax inspector of Bayanzurkh district of Ulaanbaatar by stabbing her 75 times.
Later Tuya confessed she murdered her friend in cold blood because the latter was having affair with her live-in-partner.
Tuya claimed she asked her friend, 32 year old woman several times stop having affair with her partner, a high ranking official at the Ministry of Mining.
The lover boy or the high ranking official of the Ministry of Mining is named D.Batbold. It is alleged he gave same "Volswagen Tourareg" cars to both of his lovers.
It is reported that Batbold left his wife with 3 kids and went to live with Tuya. Then they have 2 year old son. While living with Tuya, he began to have affair with tax Inspector E who was friend of Tuya.
Tuya who suspected Batbold was having affair with her friend, several times met with E and begged her to stop the affair with her hubby.
E never listened to her and asked her to leave. One night, desperate Tuya who did not want to lose her hubby, drank vodka and called E and asked for meeting. Tuya went to E's apartment building and waited in the entrance for her friend to come. E came around 10 pm and did not realize that Tuya was lurking in the dark stairs of her entrance. Tuya who appeared behind E's back, began to stab her with knife she brought from her home. Leaving the dying woman in the darkness of apartment entrance, Tuya seized E's handbag to make the whole killing seen as robbery attempt and run away from the bloody scene.
However,the police was able to arrest Tuya within 24 hours using E's phone call records. Tuya quickly admitted her guilt at the non-stop questioning of police.
Batbold quit his job at the Ministry and court sentenced Tuya to 22 year hard prison time.
As result of Batbold's affair, one woman is killed and another is to spend prime of her life behind bars leaving 2 year old son.
