HOHHOT, Aug. 20 (Xinhua) -- A total of 15 projects have been signed at an economic and trade fair among China, Mongolia and Russia in Erenhot City, north China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, according to the organizer.
The projects, which are worth 9.15 billion yuan (1.29 billion U.S. dollars), cover eight industries including engineering machinery, big data, cross-border e-commerce and dairy products processing.
Covering an area of more than 20,000 square meters, the five-day fair starting Aug. 16 attracted more than 400 companies from Mongolia, Russia, India and other countries, along with over 100,000 buyers from home and abroad.
"The city promotes the development of trade and economy and the cooperation of companies among the countries," said Delgersaikhan, member of the State Great Hural (Parliament) of Mongolia.
Located in northern Inner Mongolia, Erenhot is China's largest land port open to Mongolia. Enditem
