Local media reports today four person is
infected with swine flu or H1N1 virus in remote western province of Mongolia.According
to the report, 9 people with suspected symptoms of the flu were discovered by
the central hospital of the Bayan-Ulgii province in most western tip of
Mongolia and the test conducted by the National center for infectious diseases
confirmed that 4 of them is sick with influenza A (H1N1) type virus.The 4 infected people
includes 2 women and 2 infants.
National Emergency Management Authority of Mongolia issued decision to
impose 1 week quarantine in the pronvincial capital.Schools are closed and no
public events are to be held under this quarantine regime.Enditem.
