Kuwait, Dec 15 (KUNA)—Mongolian President Khaltmaa Battulga
awarded the Medal of Friendship to Kuwait’s Ambassador to Poland and former
Ambassador to Mongolia Khaled Al-Fadhli, in recognition of his efforts in the
service of good relations between Kuwait and Mongolia.
The Mongolian Ambassador to Poland, Bataa Nemekh, and with
the instructions of his Government, handed over the award to Al-Fadhli on
behalf of the Mongolian President.
During their meeting, the Mongolian Ambassador praised
efforts made by Ambassador Al-Fadhli for five years in the Mongolian capital
Ulaanbaatar, which had a great impact on strengthening the relations of the two
friendly countries in various fields.
For his part, AmbassadorAl-Fadhli expressed his sincere
thanks and appreciation to Mongolian President Khaltmaa Battulga for granting
him the Award of Friendship, which reflects the depth of the bilateral
relations between the two political leaderships and friendly peoples.
Al-Fadhli pointed out that the Kuwaiti-Mongolian relations
have developed in all areas, especially political and economic ones, over 43
years, noting that Kuwait was the first Arab country to open an embassy in the
capital Ulaanbaatar in 2010.
He stressed that the Kuwaiti government and people fully
recall Mongolia’s principled rejection of the Iraqi invasion in 1990.
