A spokesperson from the country's National Police Agency declared that two men have been nabbed here last week while trying to sell a dinosaur fossil.
Buyant Baatarkhuu, leader of the press office of the National Police Agency confirmed: "Over the weekend, police officers arrested the two men surnamed G and M after the suspects have posted information on selling the 80-million-year-old dinosaur fossil on Facebook."
Baatarkhuu added: "The suspects are from the southern Mongolian province of Umnugovi. The case is currently under investigation."
Mongolia, in particular its Umnugovi province, is prone for its huge amounts of dinosaur-linked discoveries.
